My Girls

When I started scrapbooking I focused on capturing memories for my grandsons. My early work consisted mostly of cutting and sticking. I have decided it is now time to experiment with new mediums and ideas and what better way than to start entering some challenges. So this is my entry for the August Purple Pumpkin
challenge which required the following recipe.
1. Paint
2. Use a button
3. Add some twine
4. Include some fancy cutting
5. Spray ink
6. A flower
7. A doiley (from Purple Pumpkin of course)
8.Use 2 different alphas in the title
As promised I have experimented with embossing powder and stamping, made buttons using washi tape and flowers from crepe paper.  My sister Pam Thorburn has a tutorial for these flowers on her blog.
