Moments Like These Are Priceless

This photo was taken in Fiji when we were there for Ally McLeans wedding.I have used the sewing machine to make the random circles, stamped the flourishes and added some lace and flowers.

You Changed Our Lives

Another of my early ones but one of my favourites as the title says it all.

Happy First Birthday Noah

Noah's first birthday. Wasn't he chubby?

Water Boy

To do the headings for this LO I painted the letters white then randomly stamped over them with some flourishes in blue and finished them off with a coat of dimensional magic. I think they suit the water theme.

Bathtime Funtime

Another very early attempt. I used my design runner to print the words bathtime on the cardstock, then covered the whole card with celephane from a bunch of flowers Olivia received.

A Blue Day

Noah likes to paint himself instead of the paper. The next pic shows what you see when you lift the photo.

A Blue Day Continued

When you lift the flap that says 'Peek-a-boo' this is what you see.

Make Yourself a Star

What doyou do when a boy paints himself instead of the paper his mum gave him? You takesome pics of course so you can show them at his 21st birthday. I made the letters out of a cardboard carton, painted then black then stuck silver glitter on them and they turned green.

This is another early one. I have used my Cricut machine tocut the title and flourish.

Love the blues in this LO.

Just Checking

I saw this weave used in a Scrapbook Magazine and decided to give it a go. I like the cheeky photo of Noah. It may seem that all these LOs are of Noah but there is a reason. All the LOs I have photographed and blogged today have been pulled out of an album I have done for Noah. I will do Lucas's next session.

My Dog

This is an early one using cheap papers and embellishments I was collecting from the Dollar Shop when I first started out. There is a big long story about the dogs but these days Noah owns the one with the blue ears and Lucas owns the other one. They take them everywhere and they are now starting to look a little worse for wear.

Balloons

You do not need to spend a lot of money to make a simple LO like this. I have made the balloons using coloured paper and edged them with some glitter. The little boys love this one as they think the balloons are for real and try to take them off.(Photo -Noah)

Spring

Another double LO with some of my many photos I have taken of plants and flowers.

Halloween Close-up

This is a close-up of the web on the next LO. Made with needle and thread.

Halloween

This is a double page LO. I was facinated with the effort put into halloween whilst we were in the USA and Canada. I particularly liked the variety of pumpkins and the way they were displayed in the shops.

Deep Thinker

Lucas in his own little world. I have used the sewing machine on this one.

Our Boy

Lucas - just a baby. An attempt at using some leftover materials.

Merry Christmas

A christmas theme for Lucas to show off his musical talents and Christmas presents. (2007).

Our House

I did this LO at a class with Carole Jansen. (I love Carole's work and she is such a lovely lady too.) It has a lovely 3D effect.

Reflect

I love this photo of the boys. I did this LO at a retreat using a pack. The challenge was to use as much of the material as we could. You can see mine is loaded up with different layers.

Simply The Best

Another early one with once again some of the 'paper collection'. I tried to make a scroll out of paper for the 'M' to sit on but I think it is back to front. I have randomly stamped around the frame.

Just Us

The girls and myself at my 50th.(A long time ago) I also did this layout a long time ago.It is one of my early ones where I was trying to be a bit creative. The background is aged and the flower overlapping the photo is cut partly from it. Then I tucked the photo in under it.

Ian and Judy

I love this picture taken about ten years ago. This was an early attempt at using some K & Company papers and embellishments.

Sisters

A change from scrapping the grandchildren. I think the distressed papers really suit the colours of the girls dresses.
