Cool Dude

This month I decided to have a go at the www.scrappingoutback.com White with a twist.. October challenge. The inspiration for the challenge was the following picture. I decided to move away from the flowers and built a reef using the same colours. this also gave me the opportunity to give my Cricket Expression machine a good workout. For the chipboard I used the fishing sign from Kaiser and Dude from Scrapmatts.

This is my effort followed by some close ups.

Thanks for looking.

le cake

This is my first attempt at a Merly Impressions Challenge. I found a whole set of Kaiser Pink Gelato in my stash and managed to use quite a lot of it including one of the stamps and some rub-ons. I started by creating the background using some texture paste and a dotty stencil which I added glitter whilst it was still wet. When it was dry I used the same stencil and randomly moved it whilst misting with some Heidi Swapp sprays.

Walk

On the weekend of 25-26 Oct I have challenged myself to walk 60km and to raise $2000 for www.endwomenscancer.com. This is a huge challenge for me as I have never done anything like this before and asking people for money as I go about my fundraising efforts sits right outside my comfort zone. The White with 1 (marshmellow colour) suits this event perfectly.

Tom

This is my gorgeous grandson Tom. The page has been inspired by this month's Stuck sketch. The embossed cogs are from Scrapmats. The chipboard blobs have been embossed and while they were still hot I added some Sage coloured  Stampendous Frantage Fragments. I have just started experimenting with some new mediums and am really enjoying the challenge.

Adore

This is my entry for the October Scrap the Girls challenge.  Papers are Kaisercraft and for the background I have used a mask with some textured paste, the flourishes have been stamped and embossed. The photos are of my two gorgeous great nieces wishing Mumma (my Mum) a Happy 90th Birthday - July 2013.

Here is a close-up. Can you see the delicate netting?

Best Cook

After attending the my2angels retreat late September I have got my act together, cleaned out and sorted my scraproom and am seriously back scrapping. I find that submitting a challenge is a good way to get going so here is my attempt at this month's Scrap the Boys October challenge which required us to show our domesticated boys. Here is Ian preparing sushi.

Little Boy Big Bike

Getting my mojo going at long last as it is a long time since I have scrapped. After attending the recent Papercraft show in Brisbane my friend Anne Patterson said the best way to get motivated is to enter some challenges so I have decided to take part in this months Scrap the Boys Challenge. This months challenge was to show us the boys with big boys toys so here is Percy trying his best on the Brisbane city hire bikes.

Say Cheese

It has been a long time since I have done any scrapping so this month I decided to use the Scrap the Boys challenge to get me started. I had forgotten how much I enjoy this craft and am anxious to get my mojo going. This months challenge required the colours blue, green and yellow to be used. The photo is of Noah and Lucas late 2012.
