I haven't blogged for a couple of weeks because I have been busy entering a 12 Days of Christmas Challenge which meant a project each day for 12 days. However before I started it I was able to get this challenge done for Stuck. The sketch they provided was this:
And this is my take using bits n pieces from my stash. I have done some masking on the background to resemble snow, added some bling, flowers, rubons, lace and twine. I made the chevrons and the brown alphas have been finished with white paint to give them an icy/snowy look.

Such a Poser
I love doing the challenges set by the ladies at Show us your Stuff. This month the quest was to use yellow and washi tape. You must always use a hand made object as well.
The papers are Dots and Stripes from Echo Park. The gorgeous framing and daisies are from Scrapmatts and have been painted yellow by me. The black and white buttons used as daisy centres have been made by me using washi tape. I also made the bumble bee using some felt, cardstock and bling. The wings were made from plastic packaging which had a small white print on it. Texture paste and a mask were used on the background black cardstock. Those little white crocheted doilies are from Purple Pumpkin. The photo is Lucas striking a pose for the camera.
Here is a close up of the bumble bee and the washi tape buttons.
Thanks for looking.

Just Me
This is my attempt at the November Purple Pumpkin sketch which was this.
I used Echo Park papers - Chillingsworth Manor Collection and a piece of corrugated card. The stamp has been done with Tim's Vintage Photo distress ink and has been overlayed with a bit of Kaiser bling. The yummy buttons, flowers and other bits and pieces were a kit from Purple Pumpkin - check out that gorgeous cameo! The photo is of me - black and white - ideal for the vintage palette and the wrinkles.
